2007 National ChampionsPremier League
Ever since winning the league in 2005 the club have been pining for this trophy, it’s the one they would like to win more than any. They had not won the won a league title in 2006, but this season the ladies excelled. The club added new players to the squad such goalkeeper Kristin Luckenbill who has performed excellently during the playoffs, Lisa Grubb who scored key goals in the second part of the season, Lauren Sesselmann who provided physical presence up front and the ever elusive Maria Ruiz whose raids on the right flank gave opponents fits throughout the campaign. Another reason for FC Indiana’s success this season has been their continued great form at home. In four years, the club has never lost at home (20 wins and 2 ties).
The ladies went 7-1 during regular season. The icing was put on the cake in the WPSL final with a professional 3-0 win over New England Mutiny at Pepin-Rood Stadium in Tampa with Maria Ruiz and Lisa Grubb running rampant. Champions again!
US Open Cup
The club played well in the cup facing quality opponents in every round and managing to beat them all. FC Indiana beat Carmel United, River Cities FC, Chicago Sockers and Dallas Sting on the way to the final before losing 2-1 to Ajax America in in the Open Cup final in Seattle, WA.
International success
After beating Australia, Trinidad and Tobago (twice) and  Mexico during the last 3 years, FC Indiana continued its international success by defeating World Cup finalists New Zealand 1-0 at Kuntz Stadium. In five matches FC Indiana outscored their international foes 15-1, all at home.

WOMEN
FC Indiana forward Maria Ruiz was named WSPL Final Four Most Valuable Player and Elenda Terekhova Fatima Leyva and Elisabetta Tona were named to All-WPSL Tournament Team.

National Champions!
FC Indiana 3, New England 0
FCI 3-0 New England FC Indiana women win their second Women’s Premier Soccer League national championship Sunday, beating New England Mutiny 3-0 on goals by Maria Ruiz, Lisa Grubb and an own goal by the Mutiny. The East division champion New England entered the tournament unbeaten.
"We knew we would face a very tough, battle-proven opponent and we needed to combat that," coach Shek Borkowski said. "We deserved to win the game, we stayed focused and didn’t make any errors."

Maria Ruiz scored on a header in the 43rd minute. Ruiz beat goalkeeper Stephanie Labbe to a long cross from Fatima Leyva and headed a shot from ten yards out just inside the right post. "I saw that the goalkeeper wasn’t going to get there, and I knew I could beat her to the ball," said Ruiz. "I just went for it and got it."
An own goal by Mutiny in the 63rd minute made it 2-0, and Lisa Grubb scored in the 81st minute to make the final score 3-0. FC Indiana improved their record to 13-1. New England ended the year at 10-1-3.
"I think our entire defense played a fantastic game and the team effort was there," Borkowski said.

Prince Moruf visits FC Indiana
WOMEN
Lagos, Nigeria based Prince Moruf visited FC Indiana to discuss cooperation agreement between FC Indiana and a Lagos based SUM Soccer Academy. According to FC Indiana officials the talks were very positive and an official signing of a working agreement is expected in January.
Moruf, FC Indiana's Officially Accredited Representative for Africa and FC Indiana Executive VP Anton Maksimov discussed player and coaching exchanges, international exhibitions, and promotion of the women’s game in Nigeria.
Moruf, spent 7 days in Lafayette and Indianapolis, where in addition to meeting with FC Indiana officials, he met with, and held discussions with Dr. Shola Ajiboye, President and CEO of African Community International Inc.
